school's out for summer

Ten years ago I graduated from high school.
I am not where I thought I would be.
I am in a place (and have been places) beyond my wildest dreams.
I have not accomplished what I expected I would.
I have accomplished things beyond my expectations.

{Okay, that's deep enough...ten years. TEN.}

A little about what went on during this decade:
  • 3 different colleges in 3 years - no degree (attempted to go back twice, but just hasn't worked out)
  • fell in love with and married my best friend
  • traveled to the beach 342 times (probably enough to at least put a down payment on a beach house - oh well)
  • discovered I like to paint
  • worked for 4 non-profit agencies (the last and my favorite was GraceWay)
  • gone on a different exciting journey in my faith
  • become a stay-at-home mother and gave birth to Mr.C and now expecting BabyJ
  • purchased our first home
  • laughed, cried, and made many memories
Since I am talking about graduations...
{I know, not a good segway}
I made these for a teacher friend (her idea).

The canvases will be used for her students to sign-
what a great idea & keepsake.
